Once the plate and pinblock are properly located, the pinblock will be glued into the rim of the piano case, in preparation for temporarily removing the plate once again, to allow final fastening of the pinblock into the case with large lag screws.
After the plate is removed this last time, final regilding (refinishing) of the plate will be done prior to final installation in the piano case.
